Jessica Cox The First Pilot With No Arms
Jessica Cox suffered a rare birth defect and was born without any arms. None of the prenatal tests her mother took showed there was anything wrong with her. And yet she was born with this rare congenital disease, but also with a great spirit.
The psychology graduate can write, type, drive a car, brush her hair and talk on her phone simply using her feet. Ms Cox, from Tuscon, Arizona, USA, is also a former dancer and double black belt in Tai Kwon-Do. She has a no-restrictions driving license, she flies planes and she can type 25 words a minute.

Yes, yes it’s very endearing – Now let’s commence learning to use a nunchaku with our feet.
on the brightside, she never has to buy gloves
I think she is very cute!!! Ooooo! Good lookin’! And of course, more courageous than most people. Outstanding!

It is amazing how much she has adapted to life, even without arms. It looks so natural.
But is she single?
What?
this is awesome. good for her. shes accompished more than i have. lol
Flexibility is always a plus.
Just imagine what a wonderful resource of talent that has been lost in all the abortions that have been performed.
There’s no way they let her drive…
She is fabulous! Best of luck!
Wow!!! ggreat job
Uh, the city is called TUCSON, Az .. . said with a silent c. . Sorry, but being a native Tucsonan, it bugs the hell out of me when people spell it Tuscon.
What an amazing young lady!
Wow. I mean really. Wow. Wow.
***high five for being different***
That’s so badass….
At the same time though, I wouldn’t want to be driving anywhere near her, no matter how good she’s gotten at it.
Wow. She has beautiful feet. I want to lick them. :}
I think she’s pretty.
two words natural selection
Putting on make-up looks about the hardest thing to do !
Inspirational, what a great girl.
That is amazing, my brother was born without a left arm and he gets along fine if not better than most. People don’t realize that if you have lived your whole life that way you simply learn to do things differently, they need to realize there is no inferior or superior there is only different. Are we inferior to the person with three arms ?
P.S. Also shes pretty hot
SHE USES MARY KAY!!
This is awesome and way beyond impressive!!!
man, this just made my day. if this girl can do all that stuff, anyone anywhere can do anything (In my honest opinion). people who say “i can’t i can’t i can’t” should look at this page and start saying “i can i can i can”
What an inspiration this lady is
shes amazing !
no boby should complain about having a bad day ever again after seeing what she has achieved.
Man she’s amazing. Bet she drives better than most people. But hopefully science can give her arms.
this women is unbelieveable. she has come so far. having no arms i would think would be horrible but after seeing this i realize your arms arent everything
Charlies Angel sequel anyone? sorry i couldnt resist.. it was the nunchucks… but really she is a great sport…. where seth mcfarlen when u need him!?
You go, girl!!!!!!!!
Yoda: There is no try: only do.
you indeed are one wonder. many should seek what you have found in life
Jessica, you inspire me.
Thank you
Hats Off!!!
what an amazing woman!!!! Not to mention she’s absolutely gorgeous!
awesome, she does not seem to be disabled in any way, absolutley amazing spirit…
I bet she would be an awesome soccer player…also why are there people asking if she can really drive? Of course she can, she can actually fly a plane so why would an automatic car be such a challenge?
The really weird bit for me is the picture of the young Jessica who looks like she has been entered in the Texan Little Miss Whore Pageant. I mean the make-up job and clothes are just disgusting, what on earth were her parents thinking that day?
I am so very impressed. You have given me hope and made me smile. You are wonderful, beautiful and incredible. Go for it!
WOW! That is really impressive. Hats off to her family for enabling her to become such an inspiration, and of course to her for just living her life and not letting her lack of arms get in the way of her life.
I wonder, does she eat out at restaurants much?
A truly inspirational story. Thank you Glen Davis, (Flight Instructor) for making dreams like this come true.
I went to junior high and high school with her. She is a very nice person. I was excited for her when I first found out about the pilot thing, and especially how it got her on the Ellen show. very cool. =) And yes, she DOES really drive.
awesome she can type faster then me and she can fly? i can barely ride a bike as it is well i can see when I’m bested kudos to your success and maybe i will start to take some classes on typing
Inspirational, and cute!!!! She gives hope to people with slight or severe disabilities. I suffer from a slight disability and am currently learning to drive. I’ve had a couple of tricky lessons lately, and seeing what this little lady has achieved in her life so far has given me the inspiration to try harder learning to drive.
Wow! This truly is an amazing story. She could also easily have a career as a motivational speaker.. but she probably has more goals that she’d first like to accomplish. Just goes to show you what is possible… and lets not forget the family that supported and loved her along the way–an important element!
jessica u are such insperation 2 everyone.2nd degree blackbelt in tei kwon-doe i took it & was hard for me high five. u are also a very good looking lady hope u keep it up showing everybody that anything is possable if u don’t quit.im from tucson also 45 years ago
and just think of all the things we all say we CANT do. shame on all of us,myself humbly included.
If the will is there a way can usually be found and it is and so did!
I’am in love.
