Dachshund Adopts a Little Pig

I wonder whatever became of this pig? This is a little old, as you can see my the date stamps on the pics, but it was just sent to me recently and if you haven’t seen it before, you must now!. Yes, there are lots of tales of different kinds of animals helping each other out, but this one is tremendously tremendous! Read, then enjoy pics! (I’ll tell you, this story raises dachshunds in my esteem!)

This dachshund was fostering this little guy for another mom who couldn’t take care of him. He had his eyes closed, but now they are open. He is just a little bigger than her other pups. She loves this little guy as much as the other puppies and she is nursing him back to health. He is the cleanest pig-puppy ever because she licks him all the time. (I didn’t write that, but I love the phrase, “pig-puppy.”)
