does anyone commenting know anything about north korea? or is it still trendy to act as though the US is made up of capitalist pig dogs that live on the blood of unsavories? militaries do some messed up stuff. sometimes governments use their militaries for good. these are both true of the US and many other nations. i don’t care what your snarky rhetoric is, north korea is an ACTUAL dictatorship, and propaganda like this keeps the people from considering that there are people from the outside that want to help.

  2. R and P says:

This is how the world would be if Glenn Beck became president.

  3. Truth says:

Pictures are pretty close to reality. Just look at the leaked films of american soldiers sending hellfire robots on innocent civilians. Why is this less true than hammering nails in the head of people?

  4. paco says:

Looks just like present day North Korea, minus the American soldiers.

  5. John says:

Hell yea I wish it was like that, kill them damn commies.

  6. wow says:

Wow, lots of intelligence on this thread. Props to the people who actually know what propaganda means and can locate North Korea on a map.

  7. Peter says:

Why not? Americans believe in the Holocaust don’t they.

  8. Nick says:

My Favorite one in the one with the guy getting his brains sawed out.

  9. TomTom says:

    Free Speech?

  10. kguys. says:

    propaganda |ˌpräpəˈgandə|
    noun
1 chiefly derogatory information, esp. of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.

    Christfuck guys.
It’s a provocative, biased opinion of American soldiers.
Everyone knows that most of Asia is brainwashed anyway. No matter what we say, they’ll believe these paintings are photographs.

  11. Eugene says:

Every war and ideologies has it’s own interpretations. In the Korean War, communists slaughtered innocent civilians thinking they were capitalists. And capitalists slaughtered innocent civilians thining they were communists. War, throughout history, brings out the worst in people. This political art is only a one-sided expression of the whole truth.

  12. Foreigner says:

Maybe the authors of those posters wanted to show that soldiers acting far from their motherland feel themselves more liberated and can do things they woudln’t even think about staying at home? Certainly, not all militarians are posterslike, but some of them can behave so. Is it present in any army, how do yo think?

  13. Chris says:

Couple the sort of imagination it took to come up with these posters with the stories of people who have escaped from the DPRK labor camps, and we might have a pretty accurate picture of what going on behind what remains of the iron curtain.

  14. ScoJo says:

Wait wait wait, do some people think this sort of thing really reflects the American military? I get if you’re anti-war, but let’s have some perspective on these bat-”s” insane, outlandish images. Consider that Kim Jong also sets himself up as some divine immortal ruler . Outside of conspiracy theories, if you believe this sort of thing is real, you might want to leave the basement more often. Please try to separate “what you heard from a friend of a friend about some a-hole military guy” from the stuff in the photos. I can’t even believe anyone should have to explain this.

  15. A real American says:

    Hell yeah America!

  16. Richard says:

Maybe we should capture journalist in this country and perform these rituals on them! At least until they start reporting the truth!

  17. Braxx says:

    YUM

  18. Ken says:

Out of the millions of people in North Korea these were the best artists they could find? Pretty lousy drawings if you ask me… why not at least get the U.S. Military uniforms correct? And everyone knows if you’re going to nail a leaflet to a girls head you have to do it in the back… geeze

  19. Anoynmous says:

    these are hilarious lulz

  20. Steve says:

“American atrocities in Guantanamo Bay amount to waterboarding 3 people in order to prevent them from killing hundreds if not thousands of others ”

Yeah, right… if you’re THAT certain they’re guilty of something THEN CHARGE THEM. The truth is that the US has little to no evidence against the people held at Guantanamo, they are simply holding them without charge.

  21. NTXSkulls says:

You people lumping all “liberals” and people who voted for Barack Obama together is no more intelligent than the idiots that think these pictures offer even a sliver of truth. Just for the record. The people in North Korea have absolutely no idea of the world outside their border, so they have an excuse to believe these posters. Anyone else, has no excuse.

  22. Josh says:

Sad fact is that this is not far from reality.

  23. boxjelly says:

it amazes me that you would remove my insightful entry. You must be working for Obama. Such censorship! shame on you. If America believes for one minute that we have freedom of speech you’re all tripping

  24. boxjelly says:

Never mind sorry I just found it I’m the trippin.. =D

  25. Anon says:

Well, the way I see it, this is nothing but an exaggerated caricature of the truth.
Seems like propaganda through media continues making the world think that the US Army are a bunch of knights in shining armor. They are not. No kind of military is.

  26. Hates America+Americanism+Americainisation says:

At what point do those images become propaganda? Look pretty close to the truth to me… Anyone remember Vietnam, Guantanamo. No propaganda here. Just truthful imagery.

  27. Korean = delusional ethinicity says:

Korean people still says same things about Japanese fake war crimes..they are really similar to Korean ideas…

Anyway, the picture’s faces have more bigger eyes Korean have..
They are just similar to Japanese..

But now 90 % South Korean women over 18 did plastic surgery to make single eyelid to double lids, but still just like normal Japanese eyes..

We have to realize how delusional people Korean is…

  28. Down with capitalism! says:

What U.S. soldiers did to Vietnamese wasn’t less cruel than these paintings.

  29. Wolfsblood99 says:

Yes because Americans totally kick children into pits and bury them alive. We also burn people at the stake and torture civilians in a variety of bloody ways. I admit we have done some fucked up shit in every war we have ever been in, but so has the rest of the world. One thing I know we don’t do on any sort of regular bases is go out of our way to kill civilians or children. I relies that the American people have a “I’m a gun wielding psychopath and love to shoot first and ask questions later.” stigma but every country has one and most of the people that live there aren’t like that so id appreciate it if the bile spiting brain damaged a$$holes shut there traps and actually get some facts instead of going on a website with like minded bile spiting brain damaged a$$holes and learn about a topic before opening there mouths or leaving a reply. I fore one know that every North Korean house has a radio built in that plays a government controlled radio station at all times it can not be turned off only turned down, that the most common carnival game is Shoot the Americans, and that it has special tour guides to lead you through only certain parts of there cities that show how “great” they are.

  30. bnjob says:

sadly these picture is even kinder than the reality, United States 50 years of economic sanctions against north korea dan many other countries has killed millions of people, caused mass migrations, wars, & violences, capitalism, or should i say imperialism/racism with money is cruel reality

  31. mujahid says:

    the pictures are so painful

  32. Ninjast4r says:

I like how several of the victims in the photos show determined stoicism even in the face of gruesome death. Like that guy getting burned at the stake. Who would honestly glower menacingly as they were set aflame? Even if American soldiers wanted to do such things to civilians, there’s always the Geneva convention red-tape that the rest of the world bitches about. Then the US threatens to withdraw it’s share of funding from the U.N to shut Europe up.

The DPRK is basically telling their people, “In the event of war, you WILL die horribly at the hands of our enemies. It is your duty to do so without complaint for our glorious Eternal President Kim Il-Sung (judging by the American uniforms, helmet flashes, and weaponry I assume these were painted around the Korean War) and the rest of the committee will remain safe on our armored bullet trains eating lobster with silver chopsticks while you get set on fire, mutilated, and executed. You own nothing, and are starving anyway; what do you have to lose?”

  33. Johny Starved says:

Perusing through these pics I was telling myself that these are not far off reality. Actually they’ve missed a couple which are quite common but too graphic (even for korean propaganda). Reading the comments I was laughing at not being the only one saying that! LOLZ!!!

  34. freakazoid says:

pfft, every US soldier knows u don’t shoot the kids in the head coz the head has the brain and child brains is the best to eat, a real delicacy

  35. Brian says:

Why are they burning Bruce Lee?!?

  36. Aust says:

In the Korean war atrocities were committed on both sides. The people of North Korea have to be some of the most brain-washed on the planet, and I’m not saying the US isn’t up there on the list too. These people are taught from birth that their leader is some kind of god capable of no wrong doing. Don’t take my word for it look up the funeral of Kim II Sung, or any documentary that was actually filmed in the DPRK.

  37. no 1 says:

this is the real picture u lick it or not.

  38. no 1 says:

    sorry for the improper english
